Radom tidbits since am in a funny mood from "Lost".
1) Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now expecting (according to eonline.com). What's that sound I hear? Oh, yes, me gagging from the sugar high.
2) Thoughts on tonight's "Lost" episode...Ana-Lucia -what a f**king bitch!...and can Locke GET any crazier? Hands raised who thinks he's bloody lost it? And why is Jack playing his game???
3) Ran into another old classmate from HS. Isn't it funny that I feel almost nothing for my old HS days? I don't see or hang out with any of those folks. They don't even seem to recognize me. I care more about my SDSU friends and those days spent there than the hellish days of HS. Wonder if this is just a common bit of life. I don't want to be one of those old folks that reminisces about the good old glory days of college.
4) JUST finished POSESSION by A.S. Byant (sp?). A movie was made about it a few years ago starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Aaron Eckhart, the yummy Jeremy Northam and Jennifer Ehle (Elizabeth Bennet!!!). The book is so much more poetic than the movie, though the movie gives the story a more dramatic edge...and a more clear cut villian. Still, it was nice living with the two poets as I read the book. You really get into their thoughts, etc. Anyway, for those who need something new to read (Sarah!) I highly recommend it.
5) U2 is getting the whole show on Thursday's Conan show. Is it just me or wouldn't it be better with just Ben Folds or the White Stripes or the Macca for an hour? Just a thought....
